Exploring the Sustainable Development Goals and Examining Gender Equality in Higher Education

Our summer school in Thailand continues! On Wednesday Rachel returned to SWU to give a communications lecture on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).  After concluding her second teaching day, Rachel joined Women, Development and Higher Education, PROWIBO’s first conference in Asia, at the Pullman Hotel.

Enjoy this video diary from Rachel, where she takes us through her second day of teaching as SWU and her experience as a panellist in the Women, Development and Higher Education conference.

Rachel was a speaker on the third panel, that examined how to improve conditions for networking, mentoring and recruiting women. Her fellow panelists included Brittani Barger, a part-time paralegal and Deputy Editor of Royal Central – and Dr. Li-ying Wu, an Associate Professor at Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

Many thanks to the panelists, moderators, and participants of Women, Development and Higher Education.
