Introducing our New Lecturers

We are so happy to have so many great professors who have returned for another summer to teach for Prowibo. But, we are also very lucky to have been joined by several new professors as well! We would like to take a second to introduce the new professors who will be joining Prowibo for this summer: Georgiana, Chandni, and Rachel!


Georgiana Epure

Georgiana Epure is a UK Economic and Social Research Council funded-scholar undertaking an MA/PhD on the politics of international criminal justice at the University of Leeds. She is also a research assistant at the European Centre for the Responsibility to Protect. Georgiana holds an MPhil in International Relations from the University of Cambridge, Christ’s College, funded by the Gates Cambridge Trust, where her research focused on the history and politics of the International Criminal Court. She holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Leeds where she graduated as valedictorian in 2016. Georgiana is the founder and editor-in-chief of the Responsibility to Protect Student Journal, a Women Deliver Young Leader Fellow advocating for comprehensive sexuality education and a member of the Association for Liberty and Gender Equality in Romania. Georgiana will be teaching for us in Thailand.


Chandni Hirani

Chandni Hiraniis from Nairobi, Kenya and is currently pursuing an MSc in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the London School of Economics. She is the founder of Kilimanjaro Green Energy, a social enterprise that brings solar lighting systems to entrepreneurial communities in Kenya. Her research at Prowibo is focusing on entrepreneurial education in Africa and its link to rural development. Chandni will be leading a course on Negotiations and Entrepreneurship for us in Uganda.


Rachel Warnick

Rachel Warnick is an Education Consultant who has worked around the world teaching students and staff to develop their communication and English skills. She is currently working in Kazakhstan, teaching English as a Foreign Language to youths and adults. Previously, Rachel taught in Mauritius where her class on “Communicating for Impact” focused on the soft skills needed to communicate effectively in all situations. Rachel has a Master of Science in International Management from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. She earned her BA in East Asian Studies from the University of Toronto, where she graduated with High Distinction. She is passionate about empowering students and making education exciting for each individual. Her course for the 2018 program at Karamat College in India is entitled Communicate, Connect, Convince.
