Charlie D.
Charlie is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Business School of Richmond the American International University in London, where he lectures in Corporate Finance, International Finance, Fundamental Analysis and Country Risk Analysis. Charlie completed his undergraduate degree in Law at the University of Nottingham before working for Ernst & Young in their London Office. After qualification as a chartered accountant, Charlie Dove-Edwin worked in investment banking as an analyst and as a salesman. His former employers include Lehman Brothers, Commerzbank, Danske Bank, Nordea and MF Global.
Majeks W.
Majeks has taught and practised law since 2004. He has an LLM from UCL (Banking Law, Conflict of Law, Corporate Law and Law of Foreign Investment in Emerging Economies), and a Certificate in Law Teaching. He was called to the Bar in England and Wales in 2006 and is a qualified SPP Mediator. Majeks has taught law at Kaplan, and the University of Greenwich. He has also taught Criminology and Psychology at the Royal Holloway University of London. He currently lectures law at undergraduate and postgraduate level at the University of Westminster, and at Regent’s University London. He is a seasoned corporate trainer and provides advice and training to many multinational companies and sovereign states on various legal issues. Majeks also does a range of philanthropic work, including helping to give a voice to those that cannot afford legal representation.
Georgiana E.
Georgiana holds an MPhil degree in International Relations and Politics from the University of Cambridge funded by the Gates Trust, and an MA degree in Social Science Research Methods from the University of Leeds where she also completed her BA. Her interests lie primarily in responses to gross human rights violations. She spent the last years researching this subject, as well as interning at the International Criminal Court and the European Union External Action Service. She is a passionate advocate for gender equality and as a Women Deliver Young Leader alumna and a member of the Association for Liberty and Gender Equality (Romania) she has gained experience in policy advocacy for women’s rights. Georgiana also has experience in project writing & management, as well as teaching diverse groups of young people in both formal and informal settings.
Rachel W.
Rachel specialises in short-term, intensive programmes focused on communications, essential business and academic skills, and English for Speakers of Other Languages. Her belief is that education must be exciting and relevant, and this principle is the bedrock of her curriculum design and facilitation style. Rachel has worked with a variety of institutions and private and corporate clients in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. She obtained a BA with High Distinction in East Asian Studies from the University of Toronto and an MSc in International Management at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS). She spent fifteen years in business, gaining valuable experience in the finance, energy and non-profit sectors, most notably with Goldman Sachs and the UNHCR, before returning to education. In addition, she has an extensive track record of volunteer work in the UK, Africa and, most recently, with ProWiBo in India in 2018. Canadian by birth but a nomad by nature, Rachel has lived in thirteen countries on four continents, and this lifelong exploration of a vast array of cultures gives a global perspective to her life and work.
